Just out of curiosity, has anyone lost a camera handing it to a stranger to take a picture? I've heard it happens...never met anyone it's happened to. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @CameraBits Interested in learning more about the Photo Mechanic part! When you say sort, what do you mean? #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove I'm not familiar with Gimp! #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte Never happened to me and don't anyone it has happened to. Maybe it's an urban legend haha #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @ABritSoutherner @ABritSoutherner A4. I don't use editing software that much. Once I used Lightroom and I liked it. But after that, haven't use any app. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog One would hope so, right? #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog @Lightroom We have got to give it a try. Came with our Adobe subscription, but haven't taken the time to figure it out. #WeekendWanderlust

A5: I don't make major changes to photos when I edit them, so I don't have any fancy images to show off. I make minor tweaks like brightness and levels. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog @CameraBits With Photo Mechanic I can create new folders on my computer file system, copy photos into those folders, make duplicates of the photos, and give everything whatever name I want. I sort my photography by 20190328-destination format. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove I feel like I'm in between. Not major changes but enough to realize it's been edited probably. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte @Lightroom I understand it so much more than Photoshop haha. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @CameraBits Intriguing! Going to look into this. I feel like organizing my photos is consistently my #1 headache. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog I wasn't until a few weeks ago. I've got a newer laptop, so needed to install editing software and decided to try it out. It does same stuff at Photoshop, but the tools are a bit different. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog @StevenOnTheMove We try to just stick with evening out the shots if they're a little to dark/bright. Mostly because we're not pros with Photoshop! #WeekendWanderlust

A6: I think that's too difficult to answer because it's always changing, of course! Right now, I'm pretty excited about Havasu Falls in August though!
#WeekendWanderlust

A6: If I have to pick a spot I want to photograph it would be the Jackson Street Bridge in @DiscoverAtlanta. Most will recognize it from @WalkingDead_AMC, but I just like the downtown Atlanta skyline. #WeekendWanderlust

A5- I used to not do a lot of photo editing, but I'm starting to experiment more #WeekendWanderlust #travelingsession

A5 Lately one of my favorite editing techniques has been to allow overexposure in the highlights to focus attention on the contrast. @Southern_Living does this often. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove @DiscoverAtlanta @WalkingDead_AMC Yes, I'd actually really like to photograph there too! For both reasons. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte @wildheartedblog For me it's also about what I'm trying to do with the photograph. I'm not trying to be artistic. I'm primarily trying to share a view of that place or event, so it doesn't have to have artistic. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog @CameraBits Photo Mechanic just released Version 6, their fastest yet. And you know the catalogue system of Lightroom? PM V 6+ will also have a catalogue system and it will be fast and glorious. #WeekendWanderlust

#Q6 #weekendwanderlust that’s a hard one but I have to say that I love photographing the beach /ocean and a great sunset . Key West is my favorite place for that @thefloridakeys https://t.co/3j5fwMacF6

RT @WWTravelChat: Q6: What is the #1 spot you want to photograph? #WeekendWanderlust https://t.co/oXHFuLNoMl

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog @DiscoverAtlanta @WalkingDead_AMC I've seen a lot of shots by @elatlboy at that location, and they always look really cool. Parking is a minor issue, but that's to be expected on a bridge. #WeekendWanderlust

#Weekendwanderlust A1 I use a Canon Powershot SX 50HS and my iphone on all my travels.

#WeekendWanderlust #Travel Chat Q7: What is your #1 top tip for shooting the best photographs?

A5. I have to say that night sight for @GooglePixels has been very interesting and has expanded our nighttime tours. this is in San Juan Puerto Rico #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog Don't know that we have a bucket list for places to shoot, but. we love Savannah and Louisiana for their gorgeous scenery! Okay, and the food ain't bad neither! ;) #WeekendWanderlust

@WWTravelChat Just 1? I want to photograph animals in Kenya/Tanzania, the Galapagos and Australia.
#WeekendWanderlust

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee Yep, that's about right! #WeekendWanderlust

RT @WWTravelChat: Q7: What is your #1 top tip for shooting the best photographs? #WeekendWanderlust https://t.co/CuqQP2PEyE

#WeekendWanderlust A7: Don’t just point and shoot! Take your time to frame the shot, and take several photos, even from the same spot. More pictures = more chances of getting a good one. #travel

A7: Top tip I can offer about photography is to take your time to get the best shot. Be patient and wait for people to move out of the way. Slow your breathing so you're not shaking the camera as much. Rushing will almost always result in subpar pictures. #WeekendWanderlust
