A2. Of course we think travel insurance is important - even for domestic trips. If you take more than two trips a year - consider an annual plan. It will save you money but cover all of your trips! #WeekendWanderlust #TravelHappy

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A2 #WeekendWanderlust I like that some travel insurance will cover medical emergencies, because with my inconsistent seasonal work and travel schedule I often don't have health insurance

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A2 I use to not but as I got older and I started seeing and knowing more about accidents that can happen when you least expect it. So I do now #WeekendWanderlust

A2: YES! I won't lie - I haven't always traveled with it. I've been one of those people who things nothing will happen to them.

Travel insurance really isn't expensive though guys and it is absolutely worth the peace of mind!

A2 100% SHOULD HAVE IT! You never know what will happen and being able to have that piece of mind is one less thing we worry about. That allows us to completely focus on the experience of the destination. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @ABritSoutherner @ABritSoutherner A2) Yes. You never know when something can happen whether it be minor/major. Something simple such as delayed or luggage can be covered, and also situations where your normal insurance would not be accepted at local doctors should any illness/accident happen. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @ABritSoutherner @ABritSoutherner A2. I usually buy travel insurance to protect my flight (if I get sick before the trip). I have never bought travel insurance when I travel. That being said, now that I am in my 50’s, I may re-think that.

A2: I never got it in the past. But I get it every time now. Last trip I was on, I walked up Cardiac Hill in Killarney National Park, Ireland. I was glad I had coverage, even if I didn't use it! #WeekendWanderlust #TravelHappy

replying to @WWTravelChat @WWTravelChat #WeekendWanderlust A2 so far I haven’t felt it was necessary. But I’ve had two recent trips where it would’ve been a cost savings for me had we done it. Especially on trips that we are planning months ahead and then plans change
