A6 We did understand a situation in Italy to be aware of pick-pockets and because we were aware we were able to be cautious of our surroundings without taking away from our trip. #WeekendWanderlust

A6: I knew that I may be overcharged for transportation in the #Philippines bc I was clearly not local but I didnāt have a problem with this small ācontributionā to the local economy as it wasnāt much more for me but made a difference to the drivers! š #weekendwanderlust

A6: Does a time-share count? Although we didn't buy. But they were really aggressive and deceptive. Basically told we couldn't leave without buying. #WeekendWanderlust #TravelHappy

A6: Taxis can be hard if there are no meters. We had spent some time in Manila so when a taxi driver quoted about 5 times the going rate, I knew better, but had we just arrived. screwed probably. #WeekendWanderlust

Went through taxi area and someone said to go this way, I started talking & listening & taking notes, then looked at notes from resort that said avoid ALL PEOPLE and take right after doors. Bingo, my people

@ABritSoutherner A6. My mother in law was in London near the Tower Bridge & fell for the āI found a ring on the ground just now.ā When were in London near the Tower Bridge 11 months later, someone tried the same scam on us. We died laughing wondering if it was the same guy.
