A6 We did understand a situation in Italy to be aware of pick-pockets and because we were aware we were able to be cautious of our surroundings without taking away from our trip. #WeekendWanderlust

@ABritSoutherner A5. I always do research before I leave. I watch and read a lot of International News (especially The Economist) I also like to ask other travelers who are or have recently traveled to the destination I am going to, especially if it’s a new one for me.

A6: I knew that I may be overcharged for transportation in the #Philippines bc I was clearly not local but I didn’t have a problem with this small “contribution” to the local economy as it wasn’t much more for me but made a difference to the drivers! 😉 #weekendwanderlust
