#WeekendWanderlust #Travel Chat Q1: What do you like - or dislike - most about taking the train?
A1: I'm not sure what I love so much but trains are my favorite form of transportation! #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog We didn't even go anywhere, and we're struggling to function. #allergies At least you got a trip out of it! ;) hehehe #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @LitchfieldFund @LitchfieldFund @ABritSoutherner Oh em gee! #WeekendWanderlust
#WeekendWanderlust A1: So much we love about #train #travel! Although they’re not all created equal, it’s generally a more relaxed experience vs. flying. Plus, legroom and no bag fees!
A1: It’s the best way to explore and stumble across hidden gems! Exploring Europe in particular by train with @Eurail is one of our favorite experiences! #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte I am not kidding when I say the second I landed in Nashville, my allergies immediately happened. #WeekendWanderlust
Hey all! This is my first #weekendwanderlust and I'm joining from the great state of Washington! I get this view from my front window.
A1: Nowhere near as stressful as flying, plus less costly, more room, Good food, and better views! #weekendwanderlust
replying to @LitchfieldFund @LitchfieldFund @TravelLatte Loving this guys! This chat was right up your alley right? #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @LitchfieldFund @LitchfieldFund Great article! Thanks for sharing! #WeekendWanderlust
#WeekendWanderlust A 1) I LOVE trains. My husband jokes and calls me Sheldon. It's like a plane because you can sit back, relax, and not worry about the navigation, but you don't get that take-off and landing anxiety and no threat of turbulence
replying to @LindayForDayz @LindayForDayz Welcome! I used to live in Tacoma and I miss it 😍 #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte A1: So much nostalgia around trains, while faster than previous forms of travel, the reflect a slower, less hectic time! #weekendwanderlust
replying to @LindayForDayz @LindayForDayz Welcome Lindy! So glad you could join us for your debut #WeekendWanderlust chat - we are a friendly bunch here!
replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog We believe it. But you were okay in Nepal? We're firm believers in a change of scenery for your nose. :) #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @byland_and_sea @byland_and_sea so many good things about trains! I wish they were more common in the US. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @byland_and_sea @byland_and_sea Exactly! It’s definitely a cheaper option and so much spectacular scenery to enjoy. #WeekendWanderlust
#WeekendWanderlust #Travel Chat Q2: Where is your favorite train journey? Share a photo!
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte Yep, no issues in Nepal! It’s not the first time this happened to me so not sure why I’m surprised haha #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @LitchfieldFund @LitchfieldFund The nostalgia is a big factor. Many trains are more comfortable than flying, though, and have a great view! #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @ABritSoutherner @ABritSoutherner @LitchfieldFund You could say we were right on track! ;) #WeekendWanderlust

#WeekendWanderlust A2: Hard to pick a favorite #train trip, but… Last fall, we climbed aboard the Amtrak Adirondack for some Upstate New York leafpeeping, and it was fantastic! https://t.co/1HKrXCdaEM #travel
#WeekendWanderlust A1: There's really just one thing we DON'T like about trains in the US: Not enough of them! You know it's true!
A2: We've had several that are great but can't name a favorite. Here's a few pics though #weekendwanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte This sounds like a great trip! #WeekendWanderlust
#WeekendWanderlust A 2) We haven't done a lot of long train rides, but riding the dome car in Alaska was a fantastic experience
