A1: That’s different for both of us but we are twitter and facebook folks. As much as I love instagram, I also hate it lol #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @ABritSoutherner @ABritSoutherner Favorite: Instagram Most used? Twitter. #WeekendWanderlust
A1: My favorite social media outlet is @Twitter. However, I've been using @instagram story a lot more, especially when traveling. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte I love twitter and twitter chats! So fun and such a great way to learn about other places/travel tips! #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog For me it is Twitter. Great for networking and meeting genuine people. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte Happy to be in for an evening and able to participate in a chat. It's been a VERY busy month since I got to the Pacific Northwest. #WeekendWanderlust
Don't forget to use the #WeekendWanderlust hashtag during tonight's chat so everyone can see your tweets. And if you haven't already, join the #travel conversation!
replying to @aandj8804 @aandj8804 That's true! Twitter chats are probably our favorite aspect of the platform. That and the crazy GIFs. :) #WeekendWanderlust
#WeekendWanderlust A1) I'm on Twitter the most. It's the best place to ask questions or have conversations. If words are too noisy, I like Instagram 2nd
#WeekendWanderlust #Travel Chat Q2: What role does social media play in your trip planning?
replying to @obligatraveler @obligatraveler I prefer Twitter because of the engagement. I get a LOT more feedback on this platform. So much of Instagram is just people trying to post pretty pictures, but they rarely if ever interact with people. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @byland_and_sea @byland_and_sea Still struggling to really "get" Pinterest. However, we're getting better at using it to research. Although, we're acers at finding recipes! :) #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte You shared an accurate depiction of me during #WeekendWanderlust or any travel chat on twitter! 🤣
A1: I'm definitely on Facebook most often to keep up with friends & news. I like the connections I've made through Twitter too. At one point I loved Instagram but now I'm kinda over it. #WeekendWanderlust
A2: It’s nice to be able to check in and left friends and family know where you are at and if folks have a cool recommendation while you are in a destination. #WeekendWanderlust
A2: I'd say a small role. I use Pinterest a lot to plan trips. I may see something on Instagram and Facebook and save it so when I go to that area, I have the information. I don't know that I've planned a trip solely because of something I saw on SM. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @obligatraveler @obligatraveler We're really visual, so Instagram appeals to us. But you're right - Can't beat Twitter for conversations! #WeekendWanderlust
A2: Social media can help me find good places to eat and sometimes really cool sights to see. However, it's rarely my go-to for trip planning. I prefer a traditional travel guide or blogs for suggestions. #WeekendWanderlust
A1- As a blogger I like Twitter because it seems that you get more clicks to your site vs Instagram where they just like the pictures (here's a random picture just because) #WeekendWanderlust #travelingsession
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte A2: Very little since I like to go off the beaten path and most people on social media likes to show pictures and talk about the most popular or trendy places. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog I love all of the advice I get on twitter. It's so helpful and I learn about places/things that I may not have considered exploring before! #WeekendWanderlust
A2: I use Pinterest to search out things to do in destinations. While not exactly social media, I also like to pop on @TripAdvisor to get ideas and read reviews. #weekendwanderlust

replying to @wildheartedblog @wildheartedblog We actually do quite a bit of research on Twitter, and it's great for support along the way. So many companies listen in on Twitter that you can usually get help/answers pretty quickly. #WeekendWanderlust
replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte @wildheartedblog That's a great point - Twitter is excellent for a quick answer! #weekendwanderlust
