replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill Where is this, Seema? So lovely #trlt

replying to @DoroLef @DoroLef @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill My local river in Kent. It’s where I’ve been going regularly for the last 18 months to escape. It’s so peaceful and decent 10-15k walk. 😊 #TRLT
replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill So good to have places like this nearby #trlt

replying to @DoroLef @DoroLef @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill Definitely. Sanity savers. 😊 #trlt

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill A1. Nature is inspiring and healing. #TRLT

replying to @Shannon_Skinner @Shannon_Skinner @TheTravelCamel @TravelAtWill Beautiful photo! Nature is definitely inspiring and healing. #trlt

Q2: Do you have a favourite local walk or hike - what makes it unique for you? Inspire us with a photo. via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A2. Oh, I might’ve just answered it in Q1. 😂 but thankfully I live out in the countryside so plenty of walks/trails to enjoy. This is another favourite along the local banks which lead to a large lake and country park. #TRLT

replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @LindaPeters64 No issues giving the same answer twice :-) I've done it before. Incredible clouds in that top left photo. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 Thank you, that was a super sunny day in August, probably not the best time to hike…but we did it anyway. 😊 #TRLT

replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @TheTravelCamel A Tree-mendous scenic spot to enjoy walking, Seema. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @TheTravelCamel All about the trees, lovely lady. 😊 #TRLT

replying to @bunkinglife @bunkinglife @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 Thank you! Nature always lends a helping hand. 😊 #trlt

AGAIN Q3: Share a story and photo of an unexpected encounter (people, place, wildlife) you've experienced while walking or hiking? via @LindaPeters64 #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 A3. Walking in the forest near Khao Lak, Thailand - we came across a massive nest of black widows. That was rather unexpected. I have no pictures tho, we didn’t hang about long enough. 😂 #TRLT

replying to @sl2016_sl
@sl2016_sl @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 Heck no! I have also walked around in the forest near Khao Lak (who knows, maybe even the same one), had I known this - no way! Probably never again now that I know this. 😱😱😱
#TRLT

replying to @Touchse @Touchse @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 Also 3 species of venomous snakes in that forest…which I didn’t know until we got back to our van. I would NOT have gone in that forest otherwise! Snakes petrify me. 😳😳 #TRLT

replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @Touchse @LindaPeters64 Being Australian, we have all of the most poisonous snakes. We learn to stay well away from those that are brown or black in colour. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @Touchse @LindaPeters64 I’d stay well away from any snake, any colour 😂. They all freak me out. #TRLT

replying to @sl2016_sl @sl2016_sl @Touchse @LindaPeters64 I had a green one (harmless tree snake) in my bedroom once in Australia. My dad and I got it out and it quickly slithered up a tree. #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @Touchse @LindaPeters64 See, id totally freak out. 😂. My friends like to send me scary videos of snakes found in toilets or falling through ceilings…I do wonder if they’re my friends at times. 🤨🤔. #TRLT

replying to @LindaPeters64 @LindaPeters64 @TheTravelCamel Pretty much what I remember before I did a very quick dash to the other side of shed where they were. #TRLT

replying to @sl2016_sl
@sl2016_sl @TheTravelCamel @LindaPeters64 Black widow spiders love to nest in shoes. Put your shoes in sealed plastic bags at night if staying in accommodation where they might be found.
You’re on your own though with the following. :-) #TRLT

AGAIN Q5: What walk or hike are you dreaming of doing one day? Why does it appeal to you? via @postcardsplaces #TRLT

replying to @TheTravelCamel @TheTravelCamel @postcardsplaces A5. Inca trail would be amazing but I’m definitely not fit enough for that! It would be incredible though. In the UK, I’d love to do Hadrians wall. #TRLT
