replying to @Shootfromttrip @Shootfromttrip @kate_frankie Yeah it's pretty annoying when ppl carry large suitcases that should have been checked in and inconvenience other folks. Our flight was delayed last trip coz people had just too much carry on and there was no space. #PTTravel

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot Agree in principle, not in duration. It's easy enough to pack 6-7 days in a carryon. (If you are not hiking) #PTTravel

replying to @Pinkzenjoy @Pinkzenjoy @kate_frankie Someone who agrees with me! Cabin crew tried to move my small cabin bag of expensive camera gear down the plane once, so someone could put a suitcase above me that I would use for a two week trip.
I don't think so! #PTTravel

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith I don't think I *own* two weeks' clothing. #pttravel

Usually I end up washing clothes where I'm staying. Even hostels usually have laundry facilities; hotels will definitely do.

Otherwise, launderette.

replying to @JR_justJR @JR_justJR on my hikes I pack less #pttravel cos when you're in the middle of nowhere, no-one cares what you smell like.

For my hike across Great Britain, 57 days, three t-shirts. Four pairs of underpants. And that was excessive.

Otherwise, travel size, buy when i'm there if i run out. Also, nick anything that's been left in hostel bathrooms. Or make use of the stuff in hotel rooms.
