replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A2: lowest place: the shores of the Dead Sea, Jordan.

Highest place: an unnamed mountain ridge overlooking a small village (possibly in Songpan region) in Sichuan province, China, at just under 4000m.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I went to Syktyvkar in Russia’s Komi Republic a good few winters ago. It felt like the end of the world. #PTTravel

A1 #pttravel Ok North is off the coast of Husavik in Iceland - it was really quite horrible weather for a boat trip!
South is a toss up between Durban in S Africa and Buenos Aires in Argentina - bit I don't have any photos of Durban.

A2 Man-made but the views from the viewing floors (note I didn't say top) of the Burj Khalifa are pretty spectacular and a little disconcerting - the tower you can see is the Address Hotel which in itself is 63 storeys #PTTravel

The highest was Everest Base camp

A2 #pttravel It took a little working out, but the prize for the highest goes to Cuzco. At any rate, it's the only place I ever suffered from altitude sickness

A3 #pttravel For most smog, China. Hottest, this was Melbourne, Australia in the summer. Farthest South, Robben Island looking back at the coast & longest mosaic in the world, Hanoi, Vietnam.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie I'm not sure I've ever had an extreme trip? #pttravel I mean, maybe that depends on your definition of 'extreme' of course ...

I've been to Rhyl. And Luton.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel Foggiest place I've been to? Winter Hill, England. Although most hills qualify.

Close runner up - western Scotland for its rain.
